Integrity is a concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions. Integrity can be regarded as the opposite of hypocrisy, in that integrity regards internal consistency as a virtue, and suggests that parties holding apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter their beliefs.
Integrity is a vanishing character trait; it’s becoming a rare commodity in our society. But it’s going to be required if our nation is going to be saved.
Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that ‘‘the buck stops here.’’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better. I therefore intend to oppose the effort to increase America’s debt limit. – Barack Obama 2006
In the midst of the first debt-ceiling standoff in 2011, Obama was asked about his flip by ABC's George Stephanopoulos. He chalked it up as a "political vote" and said his mindset changed as president.
Obama has had a complete reversal in beliefs and values and beliefs in just FIVE years… How much have your values changed in the past five years? We’re trusting this man with the direction of our country when he can’t even control the directions of his own beliefs and values?
It is time to start writing our representatives and demanding that articles of impeachment be brought against Barack Obama before he can damage out nation anymore. There have been several occasions that would justify his removal from office; his actions in Libya, his cover up of Benghazi and his unconstitutional labor board appointments, his executive orders on gun control, and his refusal to uphold American laws on gay marriage and immigration. If there is enough of a demand to impeach him Congress will have to take action.
