I have several moles, 2 moderately active, 1 extremely active.  All have far exceeded 5k posts, serve on juries, members of MIRT, 1 a former Host.  They post mostly innocuous subjects and in places like the Lounge, C&B, other minor forums.  The active one is all over LBN and GD agreeing heartily with the latest drama in long prose with flowery detail.  It's turned into a creative writing exercise.

I said they had reason to be paranoid only because if they think they have reason to be paranoid they're ignorant enough to reap the benefits of paranoia.

I've edited to say that all these moles joined years ago.  Most joined before I ever knew about CU (learned of CU from a Yahoo user named GoreBites), much less CC.  It was just something I did to pass time when bored.  I didn't even know the terminology for what I was doing at first.

What ever happened to gore_bites?  It's been ages since I've seen him.

You guys have braver moles than I do; mine are very conscientious about not causing any ripples.

Of course, I'm reasonably assuming that my fellow alum Skins and the elusive enigmatic Elad know who my moles are, and have known for a very long time.  But as I don't cause them any grief, they leave my moles alone.

Lord Marblehead EarlG couldn't find my moles even with a road-map--God knows, I've given him plenty of clues over the past few years, but it's a dangerous game.  It's always best to assume the other guy's smarter than oneself, even if it's not true.

The primitives shouldn't be concerned at all, and should just forget any of us are 'there'.

I don't know.  I think I recall seeing the user name on the current Yahoo sites, but it's been some months ago.  He invited me to CU on the old Yahoo.   He was very good at handling the Yahooligan moonbats.

Agreed!  Let's not get their little minds worried about moles!

It does seem that many in the CC family so enjoy living a double life.   So we cannot  all be 007 but the idea of sneaking into the enemy's camp and spreading misinformation is more fun then yelling Fire in a crowed movie theater.

Being a secrete agent can be much fun, safe and secure, get outted and come back wearing another hat. No worry about being shot or end up like real life spy's.

Justified, you betcha , never know when one can turn an enemy into a friend and get them to spy on their former friends.

Wondering about this former DU guy, could he be a double agent ??????   You know the cave has its Agents as does the DU, one never knows.

The key to your question is in your response, vesta.

CC has secret agents.

DU has secrete agents.  They come around, shit all over the place, then leave.  They're easy to spot, and not secret at all.

I don't give a red rat's ass if they are here.  Their dedication to group think is their Achilles Heel.   Since we don't have juries or MILF teams, what harm can they do?

On a related subject, if one were to want to mole, should you go to the trouble of masking your ISP?  If so, what is the best way to do that?

I think that we need a 101 class for this.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

The bigger question is, what is the percentage of DU'ers that are moles.
