I've heard that lame "Why does God only get 10% and waitstaff get (up to 20%)?"  Dorks.  Those who do tithe give 10% of their gross or net, depending on what they think.  No one was asking him to give the waitress 18% of his income. 

The waitress was wrong to put it online.  Handle business at work and don't carry tales out the door.
