Wearing a hat is now grounds for impeachment

It's time to impeach Scalia.

By wearing the hat that he wore today he donned a thinly veiled reference to a Catholic theocracy that he wishes reigned today. He has repeatedly proven he is partisan rather than judicial and should have no place on the Supreme Court.

Ummmm....yeah: "We hereby charge that Justice Scalia was thinking something that we don't like, and therefore he should be removed."  Only from a DUmbass.

The hat in question:

Meanwhile...

And the ugly skankosaurus in the back with the gold handbag on her head:

When do we get to impeach THEM, Whovian, you racist sexist ****?

Oh what the ****.

The primitive has no idea what he's talking about.

The hat was a style common among just about everybody, not just churchmen, during the medieval era and afterwards.

God, the primitives are stupid.  I wish they'd just die.

Imagine how they'd react if they ever went to a college graduation and saw the same sort of hats on 90% of the faculty.

I saw that and just assumed it was part of the official uniform of a SCOTUS judge when participating in a ceremony outdoors.

I thought the same thing!

Connected to Catholicism never occurred to me and I'm a Catholic!

I agree.

He looks like any college prof at a graduation ceremony.

My late night hobby has become tweeting the outrageous crap I find at the DUmp, and this one stirred more ire and outrage than any of the day. Make no mistake, they are still pissed that they overwhelmingly wanted God (and Israel) out of their platform, but for PR reasons, it failed.

Plenty of DUmmies called it for what it was...stupid.
One in particular, came to the point. Made some DUmmies stop and think how stupid it really was.

34. If being Catholic is impeachable,

then you'll have to go after the other five. Then we can get the Jews.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

20. oh for the love of sanity.

could this get any more ****ing ridiculous. you want to impeach him for his hat??? grab a clue, honey. It ain't gonna happen and if someone wanted to impeach any other SCOTUS member for a hat, I'd think it was just as stupid.

After which she's promptly accused of being a Scalia supporter.

All of this has shades of early 20th century Europe.

They are just too stupid to see that they are little totalitarians.

Scratch a democrat, find a fascist.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
