Sinus Plumber Hot Pepper Horseradish Nasal Spray Rolls Into National Distribution With Vitamin World
2013 JAN 18 (NewsRx) -- By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Health & Medicine Week -- Sinus Plumber natural nasal spray has moved into national distribution on the shelves of Vitamin World stores across the United States. Sinus Plumber uses the mucous busting power of horseradish and hot peppers in a natural formulation designed to relieve sinus, allergy and headache symptoms.

When GSC Products launched Sinus Plumber last October, the product was an instant hit with online retailers, natural stores and pharmacies, but the addition of Vitamin World has catapulted the niche brand into mainstream success.

2. It might work

I know eating horseradish or hot pepper will occasionally do the job. I'm just afraid it will be too uncomfortable to be of much use.

A lot of people have gotten dependent on the OTC nasal sprays. If they can stand this one, perhaps it will allow them to taper off.

I've used those nasal decongestants, oh, maybe about half a dozen times in my adult life, and don't remember anything in particular about them.

However, I have heard physicians caution patients against using them "too much," as if they're addictive.

Is this one of those cases where if someone constantly uses too much of something, the natural processes become less and less effective, making it all a vicious cycle?

My father actually got addicted to those nose sprays many years ago (30 or so), and he got a lot of help from his MD to break it.  He's been clean of the things ever since.

I had a cousin that got addicted to them about the same number of years ago. I don't know what he did to kick his habit.

I got stuck using those damn things for a while.  I had to find an alternative that wasn't habit-forming and suffer through the rest.

I remember when that was a topic of conversation.  Never used them.  What about it is so addicting?  Do you keep getting stuffed up?  I can't imagine you're getting high or goofy off of them.

Go to a Chinese take-out, get some eggrolls, and eat them with hot hot mustard.  It's great.  All clear.

My head clogs up generally 3 out of 5 work nights a week. I hit the spray to clear it up so I don't snore from it. It keeps me from being zombified the next day.

I take allergy medication... it keeps my sinuses clear most months of the year.

The addictive sprays are likely the pseudoephedrine based ones..

Just myself - if I have a blocked nose I'll chow down on some sushi with a heaping helping of wasabi on it.
