poll: are we too mean to the primitives?

Not hard enough.  The ideology of the DUmmies is the same as every socialist dictator to come down the pike.  They want government to control everything, and they don't care if you get what you need as long as they get what they want, and there is no discernible end to their wants. 

The reason they cheer Hussein's power grabs is that they want him to have absolute power, constitution be damned.  Then they would be our benevolent overlords, or so they think.  They dream of bloody purges. They want to see conservative leaders publicly executed as a lesson, whatever they say about the death penalty.  They would see conservatives force marched to "re-education" camps.  They would see business owners publicly humiliated for "stealing  labor" as they stole the business and it's assets.  They have posted as much, repeatedly.

No, we aren't hard enough.  Not even remotely.

Yeah, and by the best means at one's disposal.

There's people much more talented in rhetoric and persuasion and argument than I am, and while I can't be of any help to them in all that, they need encouraged and multiplied.

Me, about the only thing I can do is laugh at, mock, and ridicule them into irrelevance.

Imagine how much differently history could've turned out, if Lenin or Stalin or Hitler or Mao or Fidel had been ridiculed rather than feared, in their early stages.

When I first came here I thought the same thing (actually thought it of CU too).   Then I read some of their posts and it is comedy and entertainment, especially Pammy and Nads. 

It's more of a people-watching type of sport.    It never gets old, and it's a nice diversion from the crunchy news in the world.   

You will get flack for your post, but I completely understand where you are coming from by posting it and will give you a H5 for being honest.

I have tried and tried to understand Nads for the last few years.  To be fair to her tried to understand where she is coming from and were she is going.  Poor thing, at first I felt so sorry for her, but as time goes on she reminds me more and more of perhaps the most Evil, or mentally ill, woman I ever knew. 

 Darn I have put my foot in it many times trying to defend others that were scorned by others, You know the old insane reasoning that when you meet a new person and everyone warns you about them, you feel that as the new person is so nice to you the others are wrong or jealous of them.   Takes a while until you find the others that knew the person best were right and and you get taken big time with your eyes wide open.

I find I am getting snakier about Nads, I do not feel good about it, but I can't help myself at times.

 Have had to hold my tongue around people in real life, the poor woman that lost her baby at 4 months gestation that had to listen to a another woman describe her Abortion and how happy she was to get rid of her problem. 

Funny I do not even today know who I felt the most sorry for, the grieving mother or the killer mother.

Same with the Liberals, they will have to face the problems they bring on to themselves, the others that are decent people that fall on hard times will recover and go on to better things, the Libs will just give up----Sad.

Imagine how history would've been different, if more people in the past had loathed and detested--and ridiculed--the socialist brownshirts of Germany during the early 1930s, or the blue-capped socialist secret police in Russia at about the same time.

But once their eyes were opened, it was too late.

Laugh at, mock, ridicule them in the earlier stages, so that later they don't become a real force.

My dear Frank, I have tried to go from early childhood to now that even ones most enemy is human, being raised in the Christian Church taught to turn the other cheek and forgive those that mean  to and do us harm.

However I have found that these ideals do not work in modern history.  Say last 2,000 years.

Old habits die hard, new thinking comes in and civilization changes day to day for us.

Example, the respect and except the culture of others.   What is a culture but a tradition held by people that started it and now long dead.    Head hunting, child sacrifice, the death of non believers to a country's official religion ??


There are odd occasions of culture and tradition that pop up time to time in the Melting basket of America.  The schools in the next town noticed the Asian children coming to school with big red marks on their faces and bodies.    The findings were that this was a form of very old medical practice, something like acupuncture, when a child or adult came down with a pain the adults would rub the area ---sometimes with a coin to releave the pain.

The Libs jumped in and defended the parents for Holistic medicine from their culture. Maine has a big problem with the Ethiopians that still insist on the ungodly practice of female circumcision.   Culture and tradition I cannot accept no matter what I am told .

To laugh at or mock here in America the peoples traditions or up bring is more dangerous then trying for understanding why, and how it came from.

Then one gets the ideas of a select few that go against all we have been taught, Scientology is a awkward one to follow.
