To put into perspective, what was your emotional state when Kerry lost?

On election night, I was angry. So, so angry. I cried, in fact. Not specifically because Kerry lost (because I admit that I was not a big-time Kerry fan, but did happily cast my vote for him) but because I couldn't believe America could be so stupid as to vote for a second Bush term when his own father couldn't get re-elected after a comparatively more benign presidency. I went through a grieving process like most people. I was in denial, I was angry, I bargained, I accepted. I did hold out hope that Ohio wouldn't be certified, that some giant anomaly would be discovered or that something would happen when the EC cast their votes, but I knew deep down it was over and I had no choice but to accept defeat and move on, knowing that there would be more elections, that we would somehow get through.

My final question is, when will Hillary supporters get to that point? When will they realize that their ardent passion is not only damaging to our party, but it's also just counter-productive? It's okay to be sad, angry, and disappointed. But you suck it up and get OVER it, by god! What is the matter with these people? Honestly??

Threatening to never again step foot in a red state, which I honored for 6 mos. until my mother demanded I visit her.

Seriously looking up Canadian immigration requirements and the feasibility of moving over there.

I didn't go to work the next day, but frankly, nobody here had expected me to show up anyway.

One of the worst days of my life.

I wish I could find MoPaul/Philosoraptors account of how he spent two or three day in the fetal position in his slimy bedroom, sucking his thumb and sobbing uncontrollably.  Oh well, get used to it DUmmies the rug is about to get pulled out from under you again.

I was pleased, because I knew that we'd be watching the DUmp and its' inhabitants scream and writhe for four more years, and the US wouldn't back down in Iraq.

I was watching the returns from Cleveland, Chicago, St. Louis, Boston, Detroit, Milwaukee, Seattle, Pittsburgh, Miami, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Memphis, Buffalo, et alia, trying to figure out the honest vote, which would have shown George Bush winning the election by circa 5 million votes, rather than just only 3 million.

A lot of votes created out of thin air by those big-city machines.

I was so happy, there was the promise of a decreased population of insane liberals :lmao: and we needed to figure out how to recycle ALL the signs. Life was gonna be sweet, but then just as alwasys the liberals didn't do what they said they were going to do.

No President of either party can,or maybe better put should, affect ones personal happiness.

That this is part of DUmmythink shows how vacant and hopeless a mindset that is.
They claim to be the superior intellects and most talented yet their lives are miserable as they wander searching for someone else to do or give them something to be happy.

Pathetic,delusional fools.

You know, it's funny. They're telling Hillary supporters to 'get over it', but woe unto those who tell these same loons to 'get over it' in regards to the 2000 election.

You should be used to that regardless of which party is in power.  You chose your lib politics, and you politics dictate that you will be constantly miserable and in need of complaining.

Carl is right, if your life so revolves around which party is in power that it effects how you conduct your personal life, then you need to get a life.

IF Obama were somehow to walk away with the White House, I'd be suspect, but unless the GOP got up in arms about it, I'd let it go.

I'd seriously rethink my financial holdings and moving some things around inside/outside of the US, but other than that my life would move forward.

My moonbat neighbor said she cried for hours and then went to bed for three days.  If Obama wins I'll be worried about our country but I wont physically get ill, go to bed for days or cry.  I also wont threaten to leave the US (and never follow through with it like my brother).

I was laughing so hard at the various leftist groups throwing a hissy fit that I swear something broke in my gut...

The weeks following one didn't have to look far before finding some tidbit of lefty lunacy that was either so deranged or so inane that I had sore guts from laughing all the time.

...but...

I did notice *some* Australian conservatives acting just like the DUmp Monkey's in the lead up to and immediatly after our most recent election  :thatsright:
