OnStar was wonderful. ...They got me calmed down. They made sure I felt safe.

Oh I forgot to comment about this, as I was distracted by the "no direct contact."  .

He sounds like an hysterical teenage girl.

I might need calming down if someone caused an accident with me, but not in the way OS implied.  I'd need someone to stop me from hurting the person at fault for their own stupidity.

The car most likely wasn't drivable due to the stool and urine samples left all over the front seats by the driver.

No matter what we might think of the guy. I'm glad he is ok.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one.

Yeah, I'm with you on that one.

Let me third that one.

So, Steve was working on Christmas day? Is that what I am asked to believe?

In Arizona, if you T-Bone someone you are automatically at fault.

I do not believe Steve's Story.  I think it was a two way street, Steve is at fault, and he's the one who got the ticket. I also think he will try to write himself a months vacation...its the union way.

He was, because he needed something to do.  He's suffering the "empty nest" syndrome, because the kids went elsewhere.  And the extra pay was good too.

After reading the past couple of pages it seems that it was a nice sunny day on dry pavement and he might have been at fault. Hardly Worth typing about but its OmahaSteve. When I had my second Camaro I was working late one night just after Thanksgiving and I was working for Wells Fargo doing Bank Security at the time. I had the late shift and it was snowing bad outside. I didn't know it but by the time I had finished the interstate had been closed for at least two hours before and I was on the road already. I make it the 40+ miles to get home only to ht a sheet of ice when going down a slight hill crest. There were two cars in the intersection already and I couldn't stop. I was able to get around the two other cars just barely but that cause my car to go past and over to the left side of the street and catch the curb and the nose of my car goes up and then turns as it is going down hill sideways and I hit a traffic sign on the right side. It hit between the right side door and the fender and I get out to look at the damage and check on the other drivers to make sure they are OK.

After waiting for a long time for the cops to get there another vehicle comes by, a pickup this time and he follows the path I took only to end up hitting the left side of my car making the damage worse. Total cost was just above 1500 dollars.  Id it was Steve driving that day he would have taken out three homes and church by the time he finished.

Last accident I was in, I had to call the police and let them know that I was legally armed. The police showed up and asked me if I was the one. I said yes and that was that.

Gave the other guy a ticket and told me I could go.
Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

I think the purpose of this whiny, embarrassing post is so the sweaty neckbeard could brag to the DUmp about having OnStar.

Most monkeymobiles predate the development of OnStar, and very few DUmmies can afford the OnStar monthly fee.

The neckbeard has followed this Pam Dawson pattern before, rubbing the DUmmies noses in his ability to buy (on credit) a widescreen TV.

So read it and weep, DUmmies!

Steve can afford OnStar, and you can't!

It doesn't surprise me.

17. Yes it could have been much worse

We have a granddaughter staying with us for the next couple days. She came in the door last night and came straight over to see how I was. She was worried when she heard I was in an accident.

Anyway I count myself as being lucky it wasn't any more of an accident than it was.

What was the point of sharing that?

Omaha Steve (34,269 posts)

Tonight on the way home after work I was in a fender bender. The other car forgot they were on a way way street. They turned (improper turn) into me. I T-boned them. I have a sore shoulder from the seat belt. I wasn't going fast enough to open the air bag. They all 3 seemed fine. I didn't have direct contact with them.

OnStar was wonderful. The first thing they asked is if I was ok? They got me calmed down. They made sure I felt safe.

What a *****.

They made you feel safe, Stevie?  I thought you were a big ol' badass wearing daddy's CIB and uniform, Stevie!

Maybe you had to call OnStar because the story you're telling is, uh, bullshit?  Because you popped off your cockholster to the wrong person and were on the verge of getting your ass kicked?  Might that have something to do with it?
