I Just Called Speaker Boehner

Amd of course he was "not available" so I left him a message letting him know that the Bush tax cuts were a gift to the top two percent for which the rest of us got a couple of $600 checks and that money ran out a long time ago now and since the top earners have consistently taken their profits and hiring offshore instead of re-investing in America despite their campaign slogan rhetoric that it is time for that gravy train to end. I also suggested to him that he knock off the bullshit about the instigation of "class warfare" since his party started it when they declared war on America's middle class and poor by taking millions of jobs offshore, rigging the financial industry in their favor and creating the housing collapse with their greed. I don't expect that I will be receiving a call back but I feel it is important for us to continue to let our voice be heard so please call and let him know where you stand on this issue.

Hey DUmbass, you got more than that $600 check, you have been paying a lower tax rate ever since. I realize that you believed the lies that only the taxes of the rich got slashed, but if that was true would the preezy be trying to protect the tax cuts of the middle class? How is it he wants to protect something that you claim doesn't exist?

I love how the housing collapse wasn't because of the government forcing them to lend to deadbeats, it was all due to greed of the banks who got the shaft.  :mental:

Be polite.

I explained why I thought the Speaker was pursuing the wrong problems. Today we need to be fully focused on building the economy. The deficit is already coming down and will come down further as we get the economy on track. I asked him to support the President's budget, and in particular the stimulus parts of Obama's plan.

:rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

Yeah the deficit fell what a couple billion this year out of over a trillion. Happy days are here again.  :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

That is like celebrating that you have a credit card bill of $50k and you paid off $500 of it.

I also want to ask this DUmmy just how raising taxes is going to strengthen this shitty economy.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

...going into Nancy Poor-lucy mode here......"We have to raise taxes to see what happens to the economy.....and if it doesn't work, we may have to raise taxes again and again."

I would love to hear what they really said on that message.  A few more added to "the list".

Well if the rest of us got a couple of $600 checks it shouldn't hurt at all to let ALL OF THE RATES revert back to Saint Clinton's rates.

We have already gotten the benefit so no skin of our noses. We don't lose whatever happens. So let's just go on over the hill and hurt all of the greedy people that have the gall to make more than $200,000.

Really why are we even discussing this?   Lord 0bama says that our economy is poised to take off as soon as the tax cuts are rescinded so let's just do it.

Funny, I also called Boehner's office today and got a message as well. However, I voiced my concern over the removal of conservatives from vital committees. The future former speaker is really handing everything to 0bama over a very close loss in an election.  IMHO, the beginning of the end was when Boehner failed so miserably at the debt ceiling hike last August. In that case, Boehner also gave 0bama everything he wanted. If the republicans do cave again, the 2014 election will be a blood bath as the republican party will split giving what 0bama wants.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

How can they be so ignorant of everything that's extremely important?  Obamacare = free health care, the fiscal cliff won't touch them, only applies to millionaires/billionaires.

DUmmy, your taxes are going up too.  A lot.  And those EITC checks?  Whittled away to pennies.  Unemployment ceases.  You really, really need to become aware of the facts.

All they do in the thread is make "boner" jokes and "orange tan" jokes.  They so smart.

Leninshall rise...Let me simplify this for you.. Lets take away ALL THE BUSH TAX CUTS and see what you think then. Soon after we shall see the debt and deficit skyrocket. Sometime after we will see major cuts in all social programs because obamagod will not be able to borrow anymore money and obamagod doesn't have enough left in his stash

You better believe it!

The few DUmmies who work are mostly in the lowest bracket, currently 10%. That will jump to 15%. For DUmmies challenged by elementary school math, that's a 50% increase, far more than the hit in marginal brackets used by decent and civilized people.

The hit that will hurt us most, and seriously damage the American economy, is the increased tax rate on capital gains and dividends.

There isn't one DUmmy in ten who can define "capital gains".

The Bush tax policy gave the biggest benefit by far to the lowest earners.

They have no idea that this means the end of perpetual unemployment checks.

(But if he were a dem, I'm sure we'd be making boner jokes.)
