48% Think New Tax Money Will Go to New Programs, Not Deficit Reduction

Voters are a little less suspicious of how new tax revenues may be used. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that a plurality (48%) of Likely U.S. Voters continues to believe that if Congress and the president raise taxes to reduce the federal deficit, they are likely to use the money for new government programs instead. Thirty-eight percent (38%) disagree and believe new tax money raised to reduce the deficit will be used for that purpose. Fourteen percent (14%) are not sure.

To the 52% who think otherwise - repeat after me: DEMOCRATS TAX AND SPEND.    That has ALWAYS been the case.   You give them more money, they will spend it.   Period.

Anyone with even an inkling of a  clue will realize that they are just going to dream up new social programs and they will spend twice that amount and then go back and tell the rich they need to pay just a little more.

What this statistic tells me is this:

"Forty-eight percent of likely U.S. voters believe that if Congress and the President increase taxes to reduce the federal deficit, they are likely to use the money for new government programs instead -- and they're okay with that."

To illustrate:

Most voters still say this country is overtaxed, and half think any federal tax increase should be submitted to the public for a vote.

These are the same ****ing morans who voted to put that stinking turd back in the White House.
