Let's not forget Keith Olbermann's role in where we are today

It was KO who got many of us through the Bush years, who raged against the machine and displayed great courage in bucking the suits in ways that brought us Rachel, Ed, Al, Lawrence.

I owe him a great deal of gratitude.

Thanks, KO, wherever you are.

The only machine Olbermann rages against now is the ATM when it displays **INSUFFICIENT FUNDS** on the screen every time he tries to use it.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

55. He was the first who refused

to discuss the Clinton witch hunts
when the Republican House wrongfully impeached Clinton for a non impeachable specious charge of not disclosing details of his sex life to a bunch of gargoyles who wanted to masturbate to their mind's image of a young Monica on her knees. The rest of the "liberal" media jumped on the bandwagon. Kieth refused to sell the bullshit.

He refused to sell the bullshit?  He refused to get out of his bathtub.  Here's a link to John Gibson telling how Olbermann got the nickname bathtub boy for those who are interested and haven't heard it yet--the bathtub boy part starts at about the three minute mark, but it's all fun:
