You know this got me thinking. Weren't there a couple dummies along the way who fessed up to being so depressed after the bush win they either lost their jobs or were looking for the disability gravy train feeling they were unable to work because of their depression. I seem to recall such a thing.

There were some... don't recall how many or who they were. I seem to recall Vincent D'Onofrio, the guy that plays the detective on Law and Order - Criminal Intent, taking a leave of absence from acting cause he was so distraught over Bush beating Kerry.   :rotf: :rotf:

He was actually cracking up on set.  He'd go into tirades and it would halt production

I thought I had read something about it somewhere TRG. Wonder what his DU name is? Wonder why he didn't leave the country? Wonder why he doesn't cut a check to the government for more than he owes in taxes?

Well dummie... let us look at things from a logical perspective.

Let's say obumbles wins the election. Know what I will do the next morning? I will get up and go to work... like I always do along with all the conservatives I know.

Now let's say Romney wins the election. Ya all will be gnashing your teeth, calling in to work sick/dead/whatever, and spend the next week or two depressed.

Now dummies, I got a question for you. Which group are the dumb ones?

They won't just be depressed; They'll be completely miserable (Well, more miserable than they normally are, anyway), sobbing uncontrollably, cursing out anyone who tries to interact with them in any way, posting shrieking, obscenity-filled rants on DU, and chugging down anything alcoholic that they can get their hands on.

27. No!!! Am i the only one that was here for the 2004 Kerry debacle??

Do not get overconfident. If you think that in 2004 everyone was sitting around DU all gloom and doom, it didn't happen that way. What DID happen is that the days preceding the election, and even election night, people were posting pics of their champagne chilling, and patting each other on the back, and saying "haha, screw you republicans!!!" And then.. suddenly, it all fell apart in Ohio.

I refuse to get overconfident. I am confident, but it's too soon to talk of taunting, or celebrating, etc. We still have 4 days to go... almost there, then I'll be happy to share the taunts with you.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

conservativecave didn't come into being until the next to the next to the last day of 2007, December 28 or something.

Before then, many of us were over at our old home, but then much precious material was lost when it crashed the winter-spring of 2008.

The GOP is 250,000 votes ahead of where they were 4 years ago in early voting in Ohio -- a state Obama won by 260,000 votes. This is HUGE.

I pray you're right.

I remember those hilarious sites in 2004 with countless pictures of sobbing moonbats holding "We're so sorry, world" signs.

It would be so great if they were fired up again.

<<as I write, gearing up the taunting machine so it works nicely Tuesday evening.

That, and the ParGen, the primitive paranoia generator, might prove too much of a stress on the electrical power though.

So you lie about Romney then tell us lying is wrong, and you can't figure out why we don't believe you?

Maybe it thinks it's talking in terms of multiplication. A negative times a negative IS a positive.

However, whatever it's doing....it's dead wrong.

It would really be great if tomorrow became a Reagan/Mondale type of election

" Reagan's 525 electoral votes (out of 538) is the highest total ever received by a presidential candidate. "

I always evaluate things based upon (a) the worst possible case, (b) the most likely case, and (c) the best possible case.

I've said this before, but it doesn't hurt to repeat it.

In the worst possible case, what's going to happen tomorrow is that Barack Milhous is going to eke out a razor-thin victory, the Republicans are going to pick up only two or three new Senate seats, and the Republicans are going to lose about ten seats in the House.

That's the worst possible case.

And it's probably not the most likely case.

But in any case, franksolich plans to carry on as always, taunting and ridiculing and mocking the primitives.

It's my life's work, my destiny; sometimes I think God created franksolich for no reason other than this.

Truth to power.  Even if Obama wins,  the DUmmies will still be leading miserable lives and still complaining about life being unfair.
