The one thing Dems seem to understand is that with the evolving country we live in we must keep the doors to the party open and represent EVERYONE!

Republicans keep their head's in the sand and do absolutely nothing to try to bring African-Americans, Hispanics, etc. into their party. As the black and Hispanic population grows...the white population by percentage is dropping. Couple that with younger whites break more for Dems than Reps.

The Republicans, especially the Tea Party, seem to be clueless about how to move forward with party growth.

If Obama wins, the Dems keep the Senate (and maybe add a seat) and the Reps lose seats in the House the Right will go nuts. They will blame everything except for their ignorance on how to open their doors to welcome in new people. They are a shrinking club of white, older, upper income people AND uninformed, lower income, rural God-fearing Christians.

Why don't you exercise some of that "intellectual honesty" and say what you really mean? When a Dem says, "party growth" what they mean is taking money away from Citizen A with which to buy the votes of Citizens B, C and D. That's how Democrats grow their party, right? I mean, except for the occasional bone tossed to the GLBTAEIOU(and sometimes Y) and rabid pro-abortionist communities what else do you offer that doesn't have to do with robbing one person to buy favor from someone else?

If that's what it takes to get a vote, no thanks. I'll stand on the principles of freedom, and if my ship sinks from that, a least I'll be able to sleep at night.
