In These Last Days - Please Provide Info To Me To Convince Some Repug Friends To Vote For Obama.....

I'm beginning to worry. It seems that all my closest friends are leaning toward voting for Rmoney or will be voting for Rmoney.

One in particular voted for PBO in '08 and is trending toward Rmoney now because he thinks Rmoney is a better businessman. This friend is into day trading on the internet in a big way and is studied up on financials and the economy.

I feel that all three of these friends would be voting against their best interests - but I'm finding it hard to convince them otherwise. All three are health professionals. A pharmacist that's very religious and pro-life. A president of a hospital that is against the ACA. A respiratory therapist that is the financial wiz and believes PBO blew it right from the beginning - when as he says - PBO had control.

All three are in my age bracket. 64 and 65 y/o.

Please provide me with info that I can easily cut and paste and e-mail to them that supports PBO and refutes Rmoney. I don't want to have to come up with the arguments myself - because it will take too much time to develop. So I'm looking for some info that I can quickly turn around and e-mail.

Any help would be appreciated as I'd like to get this to them today. I'm also thinking that others here might be in the same boat and can benefit by this info as well to do the same with some of their friends/family.

Thanks in advance.

It's so cute how they think that all they need is the right lies and they can brainwash us all into voting for 0bama.
They could bring me a stack of a hundred dollar bills 2 feet high and I would still tell them to go pack sand, or I might just lie and say I will vote for Barry then take the money.  :-)

1. Not sure that would be successful.

Better to find friends who don't seem connected to the process or are apolitical and get them to vote for PBO............... jsut sayin'

Good plan DyedinthewoolDUfus, seek out unaffiliated idiots and other low information voters--people with a natural fit for the democrat party.

Have you told him that Obama is half black and if he votes against him he's a racist? Or that if Obama is reelected he will continue his effort to fundamentally change the US from a successful country into a third world shit hole? Surely that would turn him.

Ugh, yet again with the DUmmies knowing everyone else's best interest BS.  If I'm pro-life, how is it in my best interest to vote for the party of death?  If I'm in favor of everyone being treated fairly and equally, how is it in my best interest to vote for the party that uses race and gender as wedge issues and constantly clubs people over the head with them?  If I have a lick of financial sense, how is it in my best interest to vote for the party that outspends a million drunken sailors?  If I want good government, how is it in my best interest to vote for the party that throws money at failing green companies (which are often run by that party's donors)?

Rollingstone magazine for a reference??
DU posts for a reference??
Washington Post, for a reference??

Personally, I'm very happy that turd used "un-biased" sources for their compelling reasons.  :rotf:
I'm convinced. Must now go change my vote, or at least vote twice for Teh Won, so as to cancel my earlier vote.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Okay, so his friends are:

1) A PHARMACIST-Someone who deals with people's prescriptions and the economic impact not only of his bottom line, but of his patients.

2) PRESIDENT OF A HOPITAL- Someone who needs to understand the impact that the ACA will have on doctors, staff, and patients, deals with Medicaid and Medicare, and insurance companies.

3) RESPIRATORY TECH- Someone who deals directly with patients, and needs to have an understanding what is and isn't covered on someone's health plan.

4) DAY TRADER- Probably a businessman (pharmacist?) who has to deal with the ins and outs of running a business and financial problems day and day out.

AND THIS IDIOT THINKS HE KNOWS BETTER? JIMINY CHRISTMAS, this guy is stupid.

DUmmies, you aren't even intelligent enough to understand your own self-interests.  Please stop pretending that you understand mine or anyone else's.

But why would this primitive worry, since 'PBO' has had it 'in the bag' for at least the last ten months ?   :rotf:

You're not going to change our minds so save your arrogant schtick. We think for ourselves and nothing you say can change the fact that unemployment and the debt are high, the middle east is on fire, and you stole over 700 billion from Medicare to pay for your failed social experiment.

I'll say this as nicely as I can, "go screw yourself"!

I would really be interested in know what sort of job Global1 holds, since he is so quick to dismiss the experience and in-person knowledge of his friends.

Considering all the pics I've seen of Obie tossin back a few brewskies with the boys could it be that he actually has been 'in the bag' for the last ten months.  I'm thinkin Obie's got a drinkin problem along with all the others.

Then there is this;  One in four people are affllicted with mental illnesss.  Think about this global1,  your three friends are normal, you post on DU.    :mental:
