So I'm filling out this form...

In my day job, I administer federal and foundation grants in higher education. And so I'm filling out this grant application for the federal government, and it requires me to sign a disclaimer at the end of the form specifically stating that my university does is not affiliated with ACORN.

They don't ask if we're affiliated with Al Queda.

They don't ask if we're affiliated with the Aryan Nations.

They don't ask if we're affiliated with any Mexican drug cartels.

ACORN.

They want to make sure that we're not affiliated with ACORN.

I ****ing despise Republicans.

I'm not sure.

I know that the CalPig's sexual fantasies are pretty lurid and all that--not nearly as grotesque as the oblate spheroid's, though--but it's very rare, if at all, that she actually uses cuss words.

I'm suspecting that she's subconsciously betraying her pessimism about the upcoming elections.

It probably has far more to do with financial accounting than whatever conspiracy Jeff is thinking of.  ACORN received federal money at one point, and there are probably numerous regulations regarding where that money can come from, and this grant probably was not authorized as a funding source for ACORN.
