I'd be in jail for beating the hell out of the squatter that refused to leave.

I agree with the home owner in the second piece.  It's breaking and entering to me.

The squatter in the first video is a whackadoodle and the white chic doesn't seem much better off.

This story doesn't pass the smell test.

Why would the woman leave her house for a year? Then come back to a hellhole with a squatter living in it?

Quote
We're told Peterson leased the house to tenants in 2010, including this alleged squatter, but had to evict everyone when it was found not fit to live in.

We're also told the alleged squatter filed papers with the city claiming the property was abandoned.

Pony up the paper, honey. The alleged construction lien as well.

Then GTFO. And don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

Not sure I would handle this, If I left a home for a year but still paid taxes on it , not much different from retired folks that have a home in the north and head south for the winter and health reasons may cause them to stay away for a lot longer then a year.  But is the home abandoned with the owners still paying taxes ??

So to the fact that someone is now living in your home.   Now is the time to get Evil, as the strangers live there they are responsible for all utilities, so move in and hike the heat or ac up to high.   Go to the dog pound and get a couple of baby pit bulls that are not house trained.  Advertise that your home is open for garage rock bands to practise in.

Oh the possibilities here, a movie or a reality show.
