A song question
« on: September 21, 2012, 06:18:21 PM »
When I listen to the radio it's mostly oldies stations so I don't know much of the current music. My wife watches these music reality shows so I do hear some of the newer music when I watch with her. Earlier this week a contestant sang "Pumped Up Kicks" by Foster the People. I had never heard the song before, but the bass line in the song sounds somewhat familiar.

Am I just imagining things or is the bass line similar to another song?
“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

I can't do the link on my iPad, but maybe "The Wanderer" by Johnny Cash/U2?

That may be the one it reminds me of.

^Theme song of "Stripes". Great movie, an instant classic.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.
