3. maybe so

But is *is* home for a lot of us, and just packing up and leaving is not so easy for various reasons.

4. I've moved more than a few times...

When the local community doesn't support you, it's best to leave.

My wife and I stayed in a nasty part of maryland, for more than a few years, until we found jobs in a better area (there are vanishingly few places in Maryland worth staying in)

Many of the people in town were surprised we were leaving.

Too many places try to foist "we're the only place to be." They are, of course, wrong.

To hell with Texas.

7. hmmm

1.) if you want to leave, I can find some cash to toss into your gas tank
2.) It's not surrender to leave a place that can't be protected, nor bettered beyond a certain amount.

5. and the poor women, who can't afford to move?

Guess there's always Hatpin Hattie and Coat-hanger Cathy to do the job. Jesus, I hate these horrible self-righteous republicans. and that's putting it mildly.

So the new standard is: if you can't afford to move people are obligated to give you everything you want where you are.

11. Big State little else

I will boycott Texas and never spend a dime in the State.

Obviously the GOP has forgotten that we have a United States Constitution. [the people who deny the right to bear arms wish to lecture you on the presumed right to spread legs --Sgt SB]

Extremely poor and very ugly decision by any standards. I also remember it is State where President Kennedy was assassinated. [by a commie --Sgt SB]

Planned Parenthood Clinics help a lot of Women and I do not think they discriminate about Health Need.

12. OK sounds good.

Now this judge can start paying child support to all of the unwanted children that are born due to this.

Or maybe the actual fathers could do that.

Too novel?

Leave then DUmmies.

This is a state program for poor women. There are many clinics that do not perform abortions that are available to poor women in Texas, it is a good program. If they want an abortion I'm sure Planned Parenthood will eventually get some of these woman as customers.  :whatever:

I'm not really seeing a downside to these idiots leaving Texas. I'll help them pack. Even give them a bit of financial support, since the best the DUmmies offering to give would be a couple pennies they dug out of their Cheetos stained couches.

It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Most smart and enterprising women don't get themselves knocked up by drunks at a bar.
Have a nice day.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
