Obama: Dems don't get enough credit for willingness to cut Social Security and Medicare

After I was recently excoriated and accused of being (among other things) a paid Republican infiltrator for stating the plain and obvious truth that Obama and Congressional Democrats have offered to cut Social Security and Medicare, I find yet another DU post with yet more info demonstrating their unabashed willingness to assault working Americans:

So, fellow DUers: please do the President a favor and give him and Congressional Democrats "enough credit for their willingness to accept cuts in Medicare and Social Security". Face up to the facts, for goodness sake.
Yes, I'm a broken record. But unfortunately that seems to be what it takes to get folks to realize that their futures are about to be Grand Bargained away once the election is over.
Obama's infinitely preferable to Romney. But we must take a stand that even though we'll re-elect him, we won't stand for "free" trade, Social Security and Medicare cuts, and other raw assaults against the 99%. It must end.

The hardcore commies are jumping to Manny's defense, willing to blast Obama for daring to utter such blasphemies while the "moderates" are quick to spin. However, to defend Obama is to defend the indefensible (to a liberal). It's hard to spin away and the attempts to do so just make the spinner seem ever more absurd. No doubt this very same quote will appear in TV ads once Obama starts-in with the Mediscare tactics. Imagine the faces--the round, doughy faces surrounding the President--at the DNC as this tidbit is dredged up. The only democrat stalwarts with an ounce of credibility will be the commies who roundly condemn the comment.
They won't ban their hardcore commies even when they do criticize Obama during an election year (weird how that rule is so casually set aside, huh?) but if they did start banning commies in earnest then DU would be shredded into tiny pieces.
BTW - if you want to enhance your deep cover than you get a free pass to slap the president publicly for being Ryan-Lite try posing as a diehard commie such as
Purina_1 --er--Sabrina_1. Have fun with it.
