Any MSM channels covering this? **** the NDAA. **** indefinite detention for US citizens. If you do not yet know about this, search NDAA section 1021.

Historic NDAA Battle Underway: TV Networks Silent

Today feels super-creepy. NDAA's imprisonment without trial provisions are trying for a second chance at life. Remind me to put V For Vendetta back on the Netflix queue...

Here's what's up. As reported earlier today, "The White House has filed an appeal in hopes of reversing a federal judge's ruling that bans the indefinite military detention of Americans because attorneys for the president say they are justified to imprison alleged terrorists without charge.

Manhattan federal court Judge Katherine Forrest ruled in May that the indefinite detention provisions signed into law late last year by US President Barack Obama failed to 'pass constitutional muster' and ordered a temporary injunction to keep the military from locking up any person, American or other, over allegations of terrorist ties. On Monday, however, federal prosecutors representing President Obama and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta filed a claim with the 2nd US Circuit Court of Appeals in hopes of eliminating that ban."

Indefinite Detention Ruling Appealed By Federal Prosecutors

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/07/indefinite-detention-ruling_n_1749566.html

NEW YORK, Aug 6 (Reuters) - Federal prosecutors on Monday appealed a U.S. judge's order barring enforcement of part of a law that permits indefinite military detention for those deemed to have "substantially supported" al Qaeda, the Taliban or "associated forces."

Manhattan federal court Judge Katherine Forrest in May ruled in favor of activists and reporters who said they feared being detained under a section of the law, signed by President Barack Obama in December.

The government says indefinite military detention without trial is justified in some cases involving militants and their supporters.

Because, see, with DHS and drones and weapons manufacturers seeking new markets within the US, they need an enemy within the US. And that becomes anyone they decide to point at. A DOJ paper states that protesting is low-level terrorism...but it's not democracy if they don't list.

**** these power grabs. The neocons never stopped and aren't slowing down.

1. Obama doubles down on totalitarian trashing US Constitution

and a constitutional lawyer at that. So it's not like he doesn't
realize EXACTLY what he's doing.

This is HORRIBLE news. I was hoping Obama would just let the
indefinite detention thing die a quiet death after being struck
down by the first judge.

This makes me sick to my stomach.

Yet every single DUmmie will vote for Obama, again.

2. Indefinite internment is ever so democratic and humanitarian.

*some pictures of Japanese Internees *

It's always the DemonRats that do this.

3. Kick: Added new article to OP.

Because you won't hear about it on TV!

You might if you watch Fox News, but otherwise, no.

So, according to FWWM, O and Panetta are neo-cons.

Here's a hint for you DUmmies: If you don't agree with the policies, don't vote for them. I don't expect you to vote for Romney, just don't vote for O. Write in Roseanne Barr or Mickey Mouse, I don't care, but don't vote for someone who pushes for policies that you don't agree with.
