Nate Silver is certainly in the bag for Obama.  That being said, his blog is well done, and his statistical work is top notch.  If Romney legitimately takes the lead, Silver will post it.  70% chance in early August?  Bfd....I'll be worried in late October, not now.

I guess this guy does not follow politics as he would know that Nates predictions flow with the weekly whatever polls.
In 2010 there was no doubt at all from June on that Chris Gibson would be elected as Congressman in my district over incumbent Scott Murphy (D).
Still Silver had Murphy up until about 2 weeks before the election.
