"When he talked about Romney, aides picked up a level of anger he never had for Clinton or McCain"

"One factor made the 2012 grind bearable and at times even fun for Obama: he began campaign preparations feeling neutral about Romney, but like the former governor's GOP opponents in 2008 and 2012, he quickly developed a genuine disdain for the main. That scorn stoked Obama's competitive fire, got his head in the game, which came as a relief to some Obama aides who had seen his interest flag when he didn't feel motivated to crush the opposition. Obama, a person close to him told me, didn't even feel this strongly about conservative, combative House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, the Hill Republican he disliked the most. At least Cantor stood for something, he'd say."

"When he talked about Romney, aides picked up a level of anger he never had for Clinton or McCain, even after Sarah Palin was picked as his running mate. 'There was a baseline of respect for John McCain. The president always thought he was an honorable man and a war hero,' said a longtime Obama adviser. 'That doesn't hold true for Romney. He was no *******ed war hero.'"

2. Maybe I'm missing something...

It actually seems to imply that Obama is pretty mellow with the exception of thinking about Romney.

I don't get an "angry black man" vibe from it at all. But that's just me.

6. No matter what you post here, there's always some kind of disagreeance with it...

4. Don't get that vibe at all.

Sounds like President Obama is fairly typical. The more you get to know Romney, the more you dislike him. Hell, a fair share of his party doesn't seem to like him.

8. That's what I took away from the article as well

The whole world is beginning to understand why Romney's former opponents disliked him so much. Back in 2007 I wondered why his republican opponents appeared to actually despise him whereas I found him rather bland and boring, but not particularly contemptible.

Now we know. Romney has no values whatsoever and will do or say anything to win (with an annoying half-smile on his lips and cold empty eyes). He doesn't seem to have ANY redeeming qualities which is rather unnerving.

10. Count me an 'angry white man' then. The more I've gotten to know Mitt, the more I have grown to loathe him. In fact, my vote for Obama this November is due in large part to how much I loathe Romney. Yep, it's true. I'm voting in November solely to express my loathing of Romney and all things Repig.

5. So your contention is that Obama admires Romney?

9. Nope, my contention is that this story doesn't have legs

11. The only person more unlikeable than Mitt, is Dick Cheney.

12. Romney is even more dislikeable than Bush and Palin.

And that's saying a LOT.

13. I get it completely. Romney stands for nothing but his own profit. He has absolutely no redeeming factors, and as a result, the president feels contempt for him. Who in their right mind wouldn't? Romney had it easy his whole life, and yet never even once did anything even remotely decent. He even trashed Toys R Us and Kaybee Toys - he is the Grinch

Well, I suppose we'll find out--when? ninety-three days or something?--who likes Romney and compare those numbers with who likes Barack Milhous.

Too bad for the primitives.

Milo Yiannopoulos "It has been obvious since 2016 that Trump carries an anointing of some kind. My American friends, are you so blind to reason, and deaf to Heaven? Can he do all this, and cannot get a crown? This man is your King. Coronate him, and watch every devil shriek, and every demon howl."
