OBAMA CAMPAIGN CELEBRATES INDEPENDENCE DAY ... WITH FUNDRAISER IN PARISby BEN SHAPIRO 29 Jun 2012 Apparently tiring of US soil as a source of campaign dollars, the Obama campaign is headed overseas -- with its celebrity friends in tow. The European Obama campaign starts next week in Paris on July 4 with a reception organized by various fundraising heavy-hitters. Independence Day fundraisers in Paris – now that’s a flag-waving campaign. The Obama campaign will host events in Geneva, Switzerland in August as part of their “European outreach effort.†George Clooney will headline a fundraiser there, with 150 tickets going for $20,000 per piece. There’s even more to the bargain: if you go as a couple, the second ticket is half-off!
Well, seeing that Obama hates this country. It is only natural that he would be hob knobling with his rich celebrity friends in a foreign land on America's birthday. That is o.k. He will be gone in November and we will have a President who really loves this country for a President again. God I miss Bush!
Maybe if President Bush isn't too busy, he can sit in for Obama and remind America what it's like to have a president that likes, honors and respects his country.
I honestly don't recall a US president going overseas to beg for money, has this ever happened before?
I hate fundraisers are end up as vacations that are paid for by ME the taxpayer
Isn't it against the law to be using tax payers money and the services of the government for fundraising? He should be using is own money and own services. Not flying around on Air Force one and having the secret service in tow.
Come on Kyle, he pays for tourist class tickets for himself and the two or three "campaign" workers on the plane.
Since when has Obama followed the law? He is above the law. Laws are made to control the people, not the elite.
I was dead serious Kyle. That's exactly what they do. If he visits some frog politician, they can even weasel out of that.
