One thing that strikes me.......Fire department here shows up at every call. I have seen them washing the blood from the street. They are already being paid for that time. Why should she or anyone else have to pay extra for that when it's already paid for?
Thank your environmental liberals for that. It doesn't say so in the article but it is probably (maybe) a bill for "materials" such as sand or foam to clean up, haul off and properly despose of oil/gas/etc on the road..
To haul more than 108 gallons of fuel to my equipment I had to have an approved tank and placard, hazardous materials endorsement on my drivers lincense and
$1,000,000.00 in insurance to clean up the mess if I had a accidental spill.
....and large messy, oily accidents are usually cleaned up by private companies.
