And yet, no one has made the connection on how this parallels the Zimmerman case.

Is the motorist a Black man? How about the motorcyclist? Is he a minority? No?

No racism to be inferred here. Case Closed.

Don't worry about it. You appear to be a literallist and, as such, you may have sensed my real secret. I suffer from nanosophobia.  Well, that's not literally true since nanosophobia is the abnormal fear of all "little" people. I want to be perfectly clear that I have absolutely no problem with midgets, some of my best friends are midgets. However Dwarfs are another matter entirely. Rest assured, I feel terrible about this unreasonable and abnormal phobia I bear.  I have sought professional help but that was a disaster as the therapist insisted on delving into my perfectly normal sexual proclivities. I commend you on your ability to sense the flaw in my character or,so to speak, chink in my armor.

I see nothing wrong with this, I must say I fear Clowns but only after reading Stephen King and about John Wayne Gassy.

I am curious to know where you meet Midgets, do they have their own bar and counter culture ?   Do Dwarfs and Midgets mix together, why do you fear a Dwarf but not a midget ??

You say you fear ALL little people so that means you have a severe handicap, cannot live near a school or visit a mall.
Not to be nosey but how much do you get for disability from the Government.

Sex here, no problem with Midgets, OOOOO, sounds of pedophilia.   Some things I best not think about.   How ever since we are talking sex, there have been a time or two I have checked out my lawn Gnomes and wondered what they had under their britches.

You like them little, I like them big, strange how taste evolves.  My taste runs to money, not what they have but what they can save me.

Here in New England with our cold winters and the price of heating oil, I appreciate a Big man, one that sweats allot and when the bedroom gets to 20 degrees keeps the bed warm.

To go a step further, I have spent 50 years looking for a one legged fat man.  Perfect man for me, only because he would be so greatfull.

Hell of a note, I keep pushing the carbohydrates into hubby, and he has gained weight but I still have no idea how to get rid of one of his legs.

Here the DU thinks they have problems, life as a Conservative is not all roses and fun, darn it we have our problems too.

Nice to meet you Bad Dog, ------Regards Vesta

Quote from vesta...

"John Wayne Gassy"

Does he eat a lot of beans ?

By the way, I'm not sure this establishes any precedent or case law that would apply to the Zimmerman case. In order for case law to be a precedent, it has to become a final adjudication. As this case was dismissed before trial it will never appear on case records.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

You misunderstand, I don't fear all small people but, there is no separate term for the fear of dwarfs.  I'm pretty neutral about children unless they are annoying.  Which they often seem to be.

Excuse me, but, as I am new to this board, I'm a little shy about discussing things of a sexual nature.  I'm not being critical of those who would but, I don't feel comfortable yet.

I do try to avoid gnomes at all times as I also suffer  from gnomophobia which, I believe may be related to my nanosophobia. Gnomes do bear a strong resemblance to dwarfs although, not as aggressive.

I have never contemplated disability as it is pretty easy to avoid dwarfs and gnomes.

As to your leg problem, and since you mentioned King, you might review "Misery" and simply substitute an axe for the sledge hammer.

Nice to meet you too

The very reason I will Never visit Ireland.  There are sworn affidavits from most of the country's people that they have SEEN with their own these little folk that live in the woods.    Little green men and woman that will steal your chickens.

Here in America the kids worry about that little guy that will steal their lucky Charms breakfast.

Worse is that Movie from the 1980"s---???? about a Leprechaun that was a serial Killer.

Oh now, American Motors' Gremlin wasn't all that bad.

My first car was a Gremlin, 1974, six years old when I got it.

The only mishap I ever had with it was one time when the roommates and I were going to throw a party, and we used the Gremlin to pick up the 32-gallon keg of Falstaff beer.  Once the keg was slipped in the back, I slammed down the rear window, shattering it to pieces on the edge of the not-quite-in-far-enough keg.

It was one of those rear windows that also had the heating-wires embedded in it, for winter, and replacement would've been expensive.  I had a guy take a thick piece of plexiglass and cut it to fit inside the frame, and problem solved; it looked good as new.

Among routine problems, the oil valve cover gasket had only four bolts, which meant the oil valve cover gasket was always blowing out, spewing oil all over the engine.  I had to have that replaced, I dunno, maybe eight times the four years I owned the vehicle.

Another of the routine problems was that the clutch always went out after circa 2000 miles; I'd learned to drive using a clutch, and can handle a clutch very adeptly, thank you, but the problem was some "figure 8" thingamajig through which two rods of the clutch passed, was made of cheap plastic, instead of metal, and so it broke frequently.

If I'd been older and wiser, I probably would've had someone fashion the "figure 8" thingamajig out of metal, but I was young and green yet, and had the means then, to pay the circa $150 (in early 1980s dollars) every time.

No motor vehicle is maintenance-free.

I rather enjoyed that Gremlin; it always got me to where I wanted to go.

The American Motors's Pacer, on the other hand, looked silly, like a pregnant egg or something.
