Mitt is the leader of the spiteful generation who still complain that longhairs got all the action.
Huh? Hate to tell ya this, but I didn't see the cheerleaders running off with the hippies. Now the color guard girls, that's another story, but they always seemed to have something to prove.
This is just a grudge match going back to the 60's. This fight has been pasted down to their offspring who believe if they worked hard and go along to get along, the overlord would treat them right.
What overlord? What you saw was people who worked hard and played hard, celebrated their successes and mourned their losses. It infuriates you that they didn't crawl into ditch when they had a loss, they went back to work.
Now they are confused and angry and Obama is caught in the middle. His mom is who they really hate and remind them of what they think they lost.
She was a barking moonbat. She also was rather homely. If that is the action the short-hairs lost out on, I doubt the emotion is hate.
Something they never had and were too timid to laugh, have fun, and enjoy life.
No, they laughed, loved, and enjoyed life. They just didn't spend it juiced to the gills.

2. I've been convinced of that for years.
They needed to eat the acid more than anyone, but were too afraid.
They couldn't get laid during the 'Summer Of Love'.
Yeah, they needed to take mood altering chemicals, right. They got laid, they just didn't collect all the weird diseases you filthy hippies did.

5. Hey,. Hey!! this is my generation.
Don't tar us all with that feather.
I used to drink some back then, but never ever did drugs. They were illegal. I was also not rich and appreciated the state scholarships that were easy to get and parlayed my affordable education into a long IT career - until I was outsourced at 59. But , being the ant of the ant and grasshopper story, I had enough to retire then.
I never dressed as a policeman, was taught to be polite, never bullied anyone. You can be a straight arrow and still be a good person. I also marched for woman's rights, marched on Washington, protested the war in Vietnam, etc.
Most of the liberals I know now are in their 60's. It is the ones in their 40's where I find conservatism rampant.
In OTW, you were a beggar and a hangar on. According to the OP if you weren't stoned and being passed around, you weren't one of his group.
