which the media said little about from what I saw. And that was an important win. It's also probably why Walker is not as arrogant as he was when they controlled the Senate. He's calling for 'bi-partisan' meetings, I guess to show how reasonable he is.

Or, more likely, because he has no choice!

They're not in session and because of redistricting the Republicans are expected to take back the Senate, so yes, it's meaningless!
