Thanks to DUers for much information and dialogue.
I used to say that, when I got banned, the only thing I would have to say to Skinner would be "Thanks for the hospitality."

However, for some reason, I never got banned, even though I have often been critical from the left of Obama, the DNC, etc.

Bottom line: IMO, center right-ers, DLC-ers, New Democrats, Third Way-ers, No Labels-ers and whatever other names they may adopt by have ruined the Party that I once loved unquestioningly.

In any event I am not so sure that anything that exists to deepen unconditional, sports fan-like loyalty to any political party is very good for the 99%, or even for that same political party.

In addition, if Democrats talk only to each other, how does that help sway help sway those who are undecided, yet decide Presidential elections, let alone cut into the group think memes of folks who are not already Democrats?

Having said that, I was very happy and relieved to have refuge in DU from con posters. I learned a lot here from leftie posters, for which I will always be grateful. And I never learned a single thing from a con poster. They seem to operate on repeating talking points alone, over and over, as though flat-footed repetition is key and verifiable facts are irrelevant. Among many other things, they are damned tedious.

There's not much more left to do here..and some of us are Leaving this Site...
There's just not much more left to do in America these days...unless one follows the OCCUPY...which I intend to do.

I've loved being here...but, we are winding down. There's not much support for us out there and the system is "gamed" so ...sometimes one just has to "pull the plug and move on."

It is what it is.

I wish all those who've been here with us and our "fallen away" best wishes moving forward.

All of you who stayed here...I would hope (somehow) to keep in contact with...

But, I don't know how to do that. Just know that all of you MODS and POSTERS will always be SPECIAL PEOPLE.
