House Rejects Sex-Selection Abortion Ban

Source: Associated Press

(05-31) 11:33 PDT WASHINGTON, (AP) --

House Republicans lost an attempt to pass legislation making it a federal crime to carry out gender-based abortions.

In a campaign year when Democrats are accusing Republicans of waging a war against women, Republicans sought to portray the Prenatal Nondiscrimination Act as a women's rights issue.

But the legislation required a two-thirds majority for passage, because of procedural rules, and had no future in the Democratic Senate.

So far so good - simple quoting of a news article, a saddening one but mere the repetition of facts.

1. Good. Stupid anti-choice, women-hating, bullshit.

 :banghead:

You heard it right - according to the staggeringly mentally impaired "PeaceNikki" thinking that unborn girls shouldn't be killed merely because they're female is women-hating...which implies that wanting baby girls to die because they are girls is pro-women.

I suspect that the thread will quickly fall out of sight...but that's a perfect demonstration that they aren't "pro-choice" but are genuinely in favour of abortion in itself.

Sparks are sure to fly when lib sacred cows are pitted against each other.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

Why do all the DUchebags hate women?

As Rush says if in fact there is a gay gene and it can be tested for, the homos will be in full uproar over aborting those babies.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

The Bill should've said "gender and sexual orientation", then it would've passed.

4. If Republicans could PROVE Homosexuality had a specfic genetic marker

And there was an amniocentesis based test for said marker, they would be ENCOURAGING women to have the test and abort each and every homosexual fetus.

I know this for a fact, because I have talked to several Republicans that have said exactly this.

No we wouldn't! that's the difference between you and us, we would be consistent with our views, you wouldn't though.

Yes, it's always a lot of fun to see the DUmp's reactions when two groups/ causes they support conflict with each other (i.e. a Middle Eastern Muslim cleric making homophobic statements or condemning a liberal celebrity or something).

As Mark Levin explains, this was not only about sex-selection abortion, but race selection abortion as well. (did you know that? hear that? was it reported?).   Both of which I find incredibly offensive  http://www.therightscoop.com/mark-levin-what-the-media-isnt-telling-you-about-the-failed-bill-banning-sex-selective-abortion/
I have never been a rabid anti-abortion crusader, but the left is infuriating me on this issue.  So, you know you have to have an ultrasound between 16 and 23 weeks to determine the sex of the baby, right? When the baby is admittedly by any standard, a BABY.  But, you screamed bloody F'ing murder (how ironic) about an ultrasound being performed before an abortion because it was "RAPE!!!!".  I honestly pity all of you Democratic so-called feminists defending the right to kill unborn baby girls.  You sicken me.  But then again, your Messiah supports the killing of babies that survive botched abortions.

I dearly wish the left would support/advocate race or gender abortion.
Even though they support the thought, thay will never state it.

Is there a test that will tell if an unborn child will be an occupooper ?
