The DUmmies need to do a little research into how the president can affect gas prices. They need to go back to July/August 2008 then follow the trail to September 2008.
There was a transcript on National Public Radio this morning about the president and gasoline prices.
According to a recent poll, 67% of Democrats insist the Magic One cannot affect retail prices of gasoline.
Six years ago, in a poll asking the same question, 75% of Democrats insisted George Bush affected prices.
Economists agree that, really, a president doesn't have much influence over gasoline prices, but there is a perception that ties him with them, and so just as with any previous (R) president, too bad for the Magic One.
