How I would solve the job problem. I would introduce a totally new program

and modify an existing one, and put some restriction on higher ed.

First the restriction on ed: put a freeze on all admissions for five yrs.

Modify Soc Sec retirement age down to 50YRs.

Now my new program is: require all hiring be done through a jobs broker. (a new kind of union). You pay a fee and they neg a salary/wage, benefits etc. Broker firms would be limited to 10 per state and would ensure employees are qualified for the position and meet legal requirements.

These brokers would signal needs to higher ed, strike a balance of terror between corporations and employees, and fine tune the job market.

If only I were king!

And they wonder why we don't want liberals running things.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Good Grief.  And I am sure he would raise his hand to be the jobs broker.  Well that wouldn't last long likely.  Dummies have aversions to anything remotely resembling work.  Nevertheless, this has to be the stupidest set of ideas regarding job creation ever.  The stupid is strong.

Every single liberal alive will want the title of 'Jobs Broker' -

All of 'Occupy' would have cushy jobs - and conservatives would be pushing brooms & flipping burgers. Because we all know that political leanings would certainly enter into their decision making.

Must be some good dope or acid floating around, because I can't even fathom how this "plan" would remotely fix anything.

It would fix our problem of old folks homes....you'd be expected to die shortly after turning 50 because the system couldn't, shouldn't and wouldn't keep you up.

1) Jobs Brokers. Union thugs would decide who gets a job, not the company who's looking for the right employee. The company can only hire those who the union offers? How are the gangland thugs going to work out for Disney Parks? Will non-union companies be treated differently from union types? As mentioned above will conservatives be treated differently from democrats? Yep!
---Add a union and you add corruption.

2) You pay a fee up front for a job. Now this is a recipe for union corruption. Further how are you going to pay if you're unemployed? And will this fee be similar to college tuition?
--Don't we already have a USSC ruling on being required to purchase a product from a 3rd party?

Is employment really a power we want to give an already all-powerful govt?

DUmmies couldn't take a leak or wipe their asses without some type of government oversight.   :hammer:

Somedays, I actually WISH for a total governmental collapse, just so these DUmbasses would starve to death!!!

So this new plan would require everyone to join a UNION. Yeah, that will really go well with people who know what unions really are and despise them. This person is obviously pro union. He must be part of SEIU.

Yep. I can see it working out similar to how Obama decided which car dealerships he would put out of business. 99% of them donated to Republicans, and only a single one on the list had donated to Dems albeit paltry amounts.

I could feel IQ points slipping away as I read that post.

We have that already, called Temporary Work Agency's.   What a scam.

An employer calls and asks for say 6 workers to do factory jobs.   The Agency will be paid $5.00 an hour for each worker and the worker gets minimum wage.

Th employee is now realised from tons of paper work, the Agency does it all.   Takes out taxes and  pays for drug tests and has the responsibility of informing the workers of what will be required in the work place.

Fun for permanent employees, in come people we need to train in a job, depending on the agency people are sent that cannot speak English, people with police warrents out on them, heavy drug users, not unusual to find a kid only 14 using their older siblings identification to work. [ When it comes to Asians some 40 year old men are the same size as a American 12 year old. ]

Some work out, learn by their wits the job and English, or work with older people that know English and translate for them.

Some of these Temp Agency's have a policy that if a worker is satisfactory to the Company they can be realeased to the Company to work as a permanent for a buy out price. -- Today's hidden slavery ---

Worse is that if a worker is found to not be employable for any reason by the company, fails a drug test or what ever, then the Temp. Agency's black list them any of their other Agency's and often send out warnings to other Agency's not to waste money on that worker.

Example here.

I was in charge of training 12 or so new people hired by a Temp. agency in Mass, 50 miles away.  The people came in by van that the Temp agency charged the workers $10.00 a DAY to get to work.  I had a complaint that some of the workers  appeared to be gang members,  a couple looked to be under 13 and could not speak any English.
My Supervisor assured me that all could speak English, all were 18 years old + and all had passed the drug test and back ground check given by the Temp. Agency.

My job was to train them any way I could.   YIKES-----I had to use sign language to show them what was what, I had to walk softly around the males that had a disliking of taking orders from a woman.

We did after 3-4 weeks get into a working productive environment, fast learners and very hard workers.  Then the Shit hit the fan.

I came in on a Monday and my workers were all whispering among themselves, not  paying attention and becoming antsy, WTF ?

Tuesday none of them showed up, none of my supervisors would tell me a Damn thing.  Darn I had the need to know but I was left in the dark.

I was informed at the same time as the grape vine was, not from company but office staff that the Temp. Agency had absconded with the workers pay,  these poor SOB's that worked their butts off had not been paid in 2 weeks.

Hell of a mess, this Temp Agency had sent hundreds  and hundreds of worker out all over New England and had stolen their pay for 2 weeks and the company money sent to them to employ them.

Result, the Temp Agency filled bankrupt and moved on, changed their name and is still operating in the area.

Shit happens to those that work hard to survive, I wonder how many of my trainees felt they could make more money stealing cars or hooking as an independent on the streets ?????    Say they tried it the honest way and were ripped off by the sharks in the costumes of honest business men.  These people at least gave it a try to work very hard for a living,  what did they get but excuses of why they could not get the money from hard work back.

Really this is not a rare occurrence, happens every day to someone, be it us or to our neighbors,  Unions that have the leaders raid the pension fund, to us buying a  $30,000 Lemon of a car that that dealer cannot fix and refuses to replace.

Too many laws out there that hog tie us, too many rules that we do not know about but can be used against us.

Way off topic but this makes me angry  Just wait until a liberal gets  good job and is laid off on second day of hire.
Or finds his son living with Grandma and her home is lost to JR. growing pot in the attic.

Argggggggg.
