Actually, she probably did, when attending school in a third-world country.

The problem was her attitude about it.

She thought herself better-qualified to structure English than Bede, Chaucer, Shakespeare, Jonson, Swift, Thackeray, Shaw, Chesterton, Churchill, Fraser, &c., &c., &c.
