DUI with tractor nets prison (blood-alcohol level of .301 )

http://www.omaha.com/article/20120422/NEWS97/120429962#dui-with-tractor-nets-prison

MADISON — A Battle Creek man who drove his tractor through Norfolk with a blood-alcohol level of .301 was sent to prison Friday and ordered to receive treatment.

Erik J. Vogel, 39, was sentenced by Judge James Kube to two to four years in prison on a conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol-third offense in Madison County District Court on Friday.

FULL story at link.

Oh my again.

No primitive comments at this campfire, but one wonders why the big guy bothered with the story.

I suppose he thinks one of his friends lives up in this general area.

I'm really surprised that Socialist Steve takes time off from the campaign trail to roam the DUmp.

It's doubly surprising that he's doing it on a Sunday morning, when his church is such a central focus of his life.

You'd think he would be in a last-minute choir rehearsal, or helping to fold programs, or making sure hymnals were all in place.

But no, he's on the internet, reading and adding to the vulgar, hateful comments of his fellow DUmpmonkeys.

Is it possible that Socialist Steve is a heathen like his fellow deadbeat DUmp democrats, and was lying about his faith to get votes?

Steve Dawes probably attends church as often as I do....every time Sunday falls on February 29.

But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Oh he practices his faith alright, he worships at the altar of Marx.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Offered by the Bellevue Bolshevik without commentary.

The voters want to know- is Steve Dawes for or against driving farm implements while drunk?

That's what I'd like to know too.

My uncle received a DUI while on a snowmobile a few decades ago.  My mom said it "wasn't right" that he got one for being on a snowmobile.  I disagreed with her and tried to explain, but she wouldn't listen.

That guy must have been really plowed.

In the middle of Norfolk, Nebraska, no less.

For those who don't know, Norfolk's the big city in northeastern Nebraska, population circa 22,000.

It's a pain, the traffic jams there.

IIRC, some idiot got one (Florida?) for being drunk on a motorized cooler, last year.

One of the guys in my unit back at FT Campbell got a ticket for being drunk while riding a bike, the non motorised kind. His ticket was for public drunkeness since they couldn't give him a DUI in Tennessee. He was the only one to get in trouble on a four day wekend when typically it was at least 3 to 5 others that might get in trouble with the cops.
