You cannot convince a Republican

That Republicans want to end Social Security and Medicare if they are currently enjoying the benefits of it. Republicans say it outright, and they do not believe. There is that horrible fear that they have, that somehow, somewhere somebody might be not suffering enough. It freaking stuns me that I can bring up Romney's dog on the roof and that is somehow the same thing as the Secret Service going apeshit in Colombia.

A person is DIRECTLY responsible for putting his dog on the roof. That's great. Because Secret Service members in Colombia two days before Obama even got there, visited prostitutes.

I do not understand Republicans and why anyone would support such a bunch of idiots.

Of course you don't understand republicans, you have swallowed all the lies that have been told about us.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Yep we a rigid out of mind ideologues to believe that 1+1=2 every time.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

OP's quote offering is like an explosion of emotional sparks. I can't follow any single spark.
There were only two options for gender. At last count there are at least 12, according to libs. By that standard, I'm a male lesbian.

A few months at one of the Halliburton FEMA reeducation camps might do the trick! :-)

Like John Fin Kerry said about them "Not such a bad thing."

Did John "effin" Kerry pay his taxes yet on his new sailboat yacht ? Remember how he had it registered out of state to avoid taxes on it ? Typical nimby lib.

If he had it would have been done with great fanfare, so he probably has not.
He's a Masshole, but registered and docked his yacht in Rhode Island, saving several thousand dollars.

It was apparently legal to do that.

To me, that's a no-brainer. I don't see it as adding to his already massive negatives.

If it injures Massachusetts, it's all good.

The funny thing is liberalism is all about spreading the suffering, if one person has a good life and is happy that person must be taken down in order to equalize everything.

Libs want equality, but they won't take it to it's most logical conclusion.

They somehow think that if we knock down the wealthy just a little bit that it will raise them up just a little bit.

Of course I consider myself a Conservative, not a Republican, but that does mean I will generally be voting for the GOP candidate, given the alternatives offered by the Socialist-Democrat party.

And I do not want to end Social Security or Medicare, though both programs beg for drastic reform in a multitude of ways if they are going to remain viable instead of running as strictly hand-to-mouth operations using current tax year revenues.

The point is correct though, you DUmmies generally can't convince us, since your arguments generally rely on emo empathetic BS rooted in a thundering ignorance of economics or even of basic arithmetic.

Most of us grew out of emotional thinking when we were kids. We grew up to become logical thinkers and, therefore, conservatives because emotional thinking solves nothing.
