Do you get 'Tracks Ahead' in your area? It comes on Saturday before noon around here.
Yeah, one of my favs, Only problem I have, is it's on PBS here, and I think them people are leaches, pure and simple! If you have to have taxpayer money in order to survive, perhaps your business is not what it should be!
The DIY net has a pretty good one, too. Not many episodes, but you can watch them online. Real good for beginners!
We have a swap meet every year at the Spokane fairgrounds where everyone can show off their stuff. I think it's in July, I'm not sure. I just always wait until I read it in the paper.
I'll try and take some pics this year and post them in the Lounge.
(edited to add)I have satellite TV and get "RFDTV". They have an exceptional program, "I Love Toy Trains". They also have one that has vintage train video that is great for gettin' a feel of the layout of Steamers.
My Grandpa used to shovel coal in the old "Iron Horses". He worked for Missouri Pacific for 35 years!
That's what I have based everything I have on. Just need a place to put it! Been thinkin' about a loft in the small barn, where no one can **** with me or my trains. Maybe this year!
Sounds like we have quite a few members with interest in toy trains. Maybe we ought to start a forum for it.
