CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has taken the unusual step of issuing a permit allowing an American Indian tribe to kill two bald eagles for religious purposes.

The agency’s decision comes after the Northern Arapaho Tribe in Wyoming filed a federal lawsuit last year contending the refusal to issue such permits violates tribal members’ religious freedom. Although thousands of American Indians apply for eagle feathers and carcasses from a federal repository, permits allowing the killing of bald eagles are exceedingly rare, according to both tribal and legal experts on the matter.

The government tells the Catholic church to kiss off when they want something for religious purposes, but yet gives the Northern Arapaho Tribe a free go to kill the national bird! Obama does not care about america or the people people of america.

IIRC some wind farm was trying to get permits for killing eagles.  Supposedly they weren't planning on killing any, but having the permit would cover their asses if any were accidentally killed.

I'm okay with the Northern Arapahoe taking a couple eagles.  Doubt Obama even knows about it.  Guarantee he couldn't locate the rez on a map, probably not even know what state it's in.

He's wrong, wrong on this birth control issue and the Catholic church. 

But, I'll sure agree with you on him not liking or respecting the USA.

he probably thought since the eagle was bald it was obviously old.  so he met with his obamacare-death-panel and they concluded the eagle had lived a full life and they would not offer any life extending options. a literal death sentence.
