Okay, DUmmies, here it is. Your beloved Dear Reader is talking about $4 billion a year in subsidies to the oil industry to cover keeping American versus foreign engineers, etc. In return, these companies pay a ****ing HUGE amount of taxes.
Consider Exxon-Mobil. In one year, that ONE company paid to the US government over $105 billion in taxes.
And that's ONE company of many in the oil industry. So you're going to bitch about what basically amounts to less than 1-2 percent of what these companies send to the US Treasury? To the states? Are you ****ing SERIOUS?
