I like Mitt Romney.  I'd love to have him in my neighborhood.  I just think there are better choices for President right now, especially given his recent us-vs-them rhetoric borrowing OccupyWallStreet's talking points.

He does do a good job beating up on Obama.  I'll give him that, but it isn't enough to base an administration on.  If it was, Barry would be Numbah One Best President.  Instead, we have... well, Barack Obama.

The question is we need to ask her is, how many vacations does plan on taking for the next four years on the taxpayers dime...I understand that presidents and their families need vacation time too, but there should be a $5000.00 per year for the first family, after that, it should be paid out of their personal finances...
I think with so many people struggling, it is a slap in the face when the first family, takes an elaborate vacation every thee months.

I agree. We aren't what anyone would consider poor but we havent taken a vacation in YEARS.

I haven't had a vacation since 2006.  I'm too busy working.

Given the number of vacations the federal government already takes, why should we be paying for them at all?

Most of our "vacations" are travel to visit kids and grandkids and other family.  Even our vacation to Florida was to visit family, my oldest step-daughter was working there all summer, and the only chance we'd have to see her was if we went down there.  

Of course, the ordinary working family doesn't "need" elaborate vacations the way the family in the White House does.   ::) ::)

Remember how the DUmmies used to cry about Bush going home to spend a few days on his ranch?   :thatsright:  His GREEN ranch with it's water saving, energy saving, small home?   :thatsright:  So much more expensive than a little trip "home" to Hawaii...  :sarcasm:
