Oh, this weeks "honey do" list.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

Nuh-uh.

We women are very easy to understand. All you men need to do is just say "yes, ma'am", "whatever you say, honey", "of course, darling, let me get/do that for you".

Sounds like what you are saying is just agree with the wife and all is well, so according to your advice the next time my wife says "I look fat" I should say "of course you do darling"?

Or the next meltdown she has over something relatively insignificant and says something like "I ruined the whole family get-together", I should say "yes ma'am, whatever you say honey"?

Proper response to "I look fat"....

No sweetheart, you look perfect to me. And by the way, your tush looks really great in those jeans. (if she's wearing jeans)

So now it's agree sometimes and disagree other times.  This is why we need a book!

It always shocks me that men think we're complicated, we're really not, just expect us to change our minds often, expect us to get angry then emotional at certain times, and if we ask do we look good in this outfit be honest but tactful, and if we ask what you think of this handbag just say you like it, and a hug and a kiss makes us happy.

So true!

I raised three daughters and had a few foster daughters.  I can explain teenage girls easily.

If a teen girl is in a sour mood, it's either caused by hormones (and will pass), or because of a boy (that, too, shall pass -- until the next time).

"You have lost some weight lately."

Translation to the above statement: "you were lookin' kind of hefty there, but at least you're getting rid of some of that fat."

Therefore, her response will be....

:bird: :hammer:  :censored:  :argh:

Which in turns translates to...

you won't be getting any  :naughty:  for some time.

I prefer to read women with the Braille method.
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

I dont know that I agree. If I've been working hard in the gym and eating carefully, it's nice for the man in my life to notice my efforts. I think the issue women have is they want men to talk like women. I don't think men necessarily mean anything when they say that they notice you've lost weight; they are men, they are just saying, hey, I just noticed you look a little different. It's us girls who put the implication on things often because of our own issues WITH OURSELVES! I mean if we are dieting and exercising to lose weight what is wrong with someone telling us we have lost weight?  :???:

I don't have a lot of female friends and this is why. I don't get my own kind.  :lmao: And I'm prone to the emotional stuff too, but I know in my head most days even as I'm going through it that its totally irrational. We are crazy, there that settles it. Men are too though, just in a different way.

Did you just see that guys, I ran the gambit up there. I am woman, here me roar.  :-)
