It's pretty clear what his reason is -- he doesn't want to be in the same breathing space as the Empty Suit and Liar-in-Chief. He's a "staunch conservative."

Telling Lord Zero to go **** himself (in so many words) is just about as staunch as you can get.

He was the goalie at Yale for his collegiate time.  An ECAC Hockey League product.  My respect for Thomas has shot up immeasurably.  (As a point of information, a fellow alum of my alma mater is also a Bruin, and scored a goal in one of the two shutouts Thomas had.)

Screw you. I know exactly why he did. He put out an explanation. I happen to agree with it, and think it's pretty damn awesome. My comment was a tongue in cheek response to the fact his team (Boston Bruins) beat my team (Vancouver Canucks) for the Stanley Cup last year, therefore I don't much like the Bruins.
