DOJ to open investigation into Zimmerman case...

Just now talking to a black group (on CSPAN). He promises to seek the "truth".

My guess is that the Holder will drag this "investigation" out well into the 2014 campaign season to get the most out of the black vote. Just like he refused to investigate the NBPP's intimidation of white voters in Philadelphia the last time around.

Jay Carney claims that Obama played no part in the DOJs decision.  Of course not, he knew Holder would do the wrong thing and was happy with that.  Besides, Obama is pretty much a "hands off" type of ineffective lead from behind guy anyway.

I think it's even more cynical than that. The FBI conducted an exhaustive investigation and interviewed close to 40 people looking for possible racism. They found nothing. In fact they found the opposite. So the DOJ would know in advance they were "fishing" in sterile waters. It's a show trial/ show investigation in the style of Orwell.

Holder and owebuma have set back race relations decades, possibly even centuries.
