Frankly, I think its purpose is to collect 'DU3s' from everyone.  There is more advertisement real-estate on that site than actual DU3.

I was a valuable mole before DU3. I had DUmmies donating money to skimmer for my star. Now that there are no more donations, I'm expendable.
