What is this all about?

Is this because the person is charge there now (the one that emails moderators and tells them to **** Off but still gets preferencial treatment instead of a pep n' mush, is that why I have been barred from a forum that I don't participate in because he might Think I am a disruptor because I am a supporter of Obama and believe his work on DADT and many other issues that matter to gay and lesbians are good?

Stinks to high heavens, Skinner.

But the smell has been wafting for a while.

1. Actually, I did that myself back in March. 

I and some members of the GLBT forum were trying to have a productive discussion in my "Mending Fences" thread, and it was not helping that some people who were not regulars in the forum were taking the discussions off-track.

The only thing I can think of is that I objected to some people who claimed Obama was a hateful homophobe and was worse than Bush. But you are insinuating that I myself am anti-gay by what you did. I am not anti-gay but anti-asshole.

Could I ask why you didn't do this same secret banning for the Barack Obama Group? Disruptors were free to come in and do their regular schtick of 'Barack is a homophobe, worse than Bush' talk - don't you find it uncomfortable that your site, a 'democratic' website where members who support the Democratic President - had to escape to the BO group and endlessly get followed and harassed there as well

I was trying to promote a little mutual respect and understanding, and having people in that discussion trying to argue with "people who claimed Obama was a hateful homophobe and was worse than Bush" was not particularly helpful to what I was trying to do.

As for the Barack Obama Group, we blocked plenty of people out of that group, too. It has always been our policy to block people out of groups when they violate the group's statement of purpose.

Uh, not so.

If this were so, the anti-gun-nut the iverglas primitive would've been banned from the firearms forum on Skins's island a very long time ago.

You're not going to find "mutual" anything in the Alphabet Forum, except maybe mutual masturbation. It's chock full o' nancy boys and butch girls who aren't going to stand for anything except their way 100% of the time, and if you dare suggest any kind of tolerance or compromise on their end, you'll be asked, "Why do you want gays to die?", or some such hysterical shit.
