No they can't bring tents, but there will be one corner where people can go and have some free speech around City Hall.

If we/Occupy cave into this free speech zone BS again, we are truly doomed.

They will pen people up in cages, where they can have free speech? What the hell is so free about that.

This is that Democratic Mayors solution. **** it, I say.

 George Bush built the framework of facism in the 8 years of his term. It is the real, but invisible "shadow government", the "tail wagging the dog". The remaining shell of our traditional government is a shadow of its former self, emasculatedd by Citizens United. It is pure kabuki.

Last I checked there was a dem President,a dem controlled Senate,almost all big cities have dem mayors,California a dem Governor and about as leftist as one can be without having a hammer and sickle on the state flag yet it is Former President Bush who gets cited.  :rotf:

How quickly these lefty idiots forget the universities, college campuses, and high schools that all jumped on the bandwagon for "free speech zones" which started roughly 25+ years ago. All of them were put forward by Libtards.
Even as a student I thought WTH, just like the Hobbit primitive, the whole country is a "free speech zone".

Actually to correct this DUmmie, there are at least three areas in this country where your so called free speech rights do not exist.  My property/houses in Mass, N.H. and Florida are strictly no DUmmie zones.

Of course, the DUmmies strongly support the tax code that destroyed free speech on the private property belonging to all churches.  Seems to me the "free speech zones" started before Bush 1 was elected. 

It also seems to me that I've heard of Clinton providing metal cages for "free" speech long before Bush 2 was elected.  But of course, like typical DUmmies, actual facts have no traction in their gripes.   ::)

Kept the crazies calm, they could drag a wooden box to a site climb aboard and pontificate from sun up to sun down.   Controlled hysteria, allow them to get their issues off their chest and not get frustrated and do something stupid.

Back in the 1990's I accompany Mother on a senior visit to the White House.   Outside the WH there were people waving signs and crying for attention for their problems.   The tour group of old fogies were outraged, why is this allowed, lock up those people that criticize our President and country.   These were mostly old time veterans and family's, not a bunch of Kids.

Surprised me how fast my Mother agreed with her Peers, I was horrified.    I whispered to her, but this is what America is all about, can the people of Russia do this????  Now Mom is not about to admit to being wrong about anything but I saw a change in her demeanor, for just a split second, she was thinking about what I said.

We have never discussed that incidence, but she today has no openion on the OWS, at least to me. When
people have 80+ years of living under their belt, seen it done it, voted for the wrong or right President, lived through the depression, WW2, Korea, MAM, seeing the changes from a water pump in the kitchen to the technology of today, who can blame them for finding it easier to go along with their Peers that lived through history, much easier to understand the past then try to figure out the present.
