Going to an Occupation? Perhaps you need to know what you're up against. Know your enemy. Of course, if he/she happens to get a clue, welcome them:

That link is more ****ed up than a football bat.  Probably at least twice as dangerous, too.

Wow! Sounds like someone has some anger issues. I have always been treated with respect by the police... of course I always treat them with respect too. I know I would not want to walk around with a target on my back.

I hope he goes to a protest and tries to put those onto practice.

I've been "harassed" exactly once by police.

The only other time I ever had a problem with the police, I was the one being a nuisance and they all resulted in me being told to go home and sleep it off.  Which means I fell into the occasionally young and dumb category.  Hell, even then the officers could tell I was trying not to cause trouble.

DUmmies have trouble with police because they insist on confrontation and their "rights" while ignoring the fact they are breaking the law.

Not surprised. The people who run/ write for Crimethinc are a bunch of dangerous sociopaths who think that violence and rioting at protests are not just okay but something to be encouraged, yet simultaneously think that bathing regularly and other forms of personal hygiene are the result of brainwashing by the EEEEEEEVIIIIIIILLL corporations that manufacture hygiene products.
Every one of those psychos is in need of a little "Stick- Time" from an exasperated cop.

I am sure that the author is one of those freaks that dress in a black hoodie with a cowboy style train robber mask over his face and a back and white Keffiyeh around his neck.  Makes his point by breaking windows, stealing and protesting at G-20 meetings.

I alway wonder how these anti capitalists anarchists can afford to fly all over the world and protest.  I have to save for years to go to England for a vacation, yet these yahoos can get up and hop on a flight (with a govt issued passport) at a whim to desprty private property.  I guess anti-capitalism only goes so far.

I guess working for a living is not what it is cracked up to be.
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

Ever get stopped for speeding in the south??  Some kind of Sheriff.

I did and the good old boy took me and 2 kids to a magistrate in the middle of the night.

Interesting for me and the kids, I explained to some one I was headed to TN. as a friend had committed suicide and we needed to be there for the family.

At the time of the stop the Sheriff swore I was doing 90 mph in a 50 mph zone.   I did not say a word as I knew my auto was too old to make it up to 60mph.

I had less then $250 on me and the fine was $450.    Now what were they going to confiscate my car, leave us out on the street of a strange town for days???

Kids cried I cried until I was told my fine was $10.00 bless their hearts.  I paid the fine and the Sheriff followed me out to the car with the kids and handed me a $20.00 bill and walked off.

Cops, they are human, my son had money stolen coming home from bootcamp by a hooker and a cop paid his bus fare home.

Cops, some are good some are bad, but even the worse will put their life on the line for a low down sneak snake.

That's the sad part.
Speaks volumes.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

But, we're doing the same thing by reading the DUmp . . . :evillaugh:

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

Yeah but our enemies are barbarians, not decent civilized people.
I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Recon can be done against barbarians, too . . . :-)
