Shipwrecked Baptist
« on: November 10, 2011, 02:01:03 PM »
After 10 years of being stranded on a deserted island a baptist felt his prayers had been answered when a rescue party came rowing up to his beach.

The captain of the rescue party asked how many more people were with him.

"Just me," the Baptist replied.

"Then why are there 3 huts?" the captain queried.

"Well, that hut there is where I live and that hut over there is where I go to church," said the Baptist. "And that hut way over there is where I used to go to church."
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
