General Strike. ....

We heard plenty of voices say it could not happen....

There are structural reasons why Oakland was a good place for that.

Then there is the pull money from major banks (ongoing)

So when there is a call for a national strike, if trends continue...you are in for a surprise. Yup, one can be stopped...but tat requires power to wake up and realize things are going there.

Power does not concede, but it will have to.

No response yet to poor nadins ramblings.

Nads, deary, it failed.
Failed miserably. Go brew a pot.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

I'm betting prescription narcotics, not just booze.  At any rate, there's a 0% chance she was sober when she wrote that.

Didn't the strike the other day pretty much strike out? wasn't that supposed to be a general strike?

I'm really concerned.

Really, I am.

Really.

I kid you not.

This is the biggest real-life breakdown I've seen on Skins's island, and remember, I've been seeing Skins's island since the beginning nearly eleven years ago.

Doug's stupid ex-wife's lunacies, and the crash of the greenbriar primitive, were nothing compared with this.

This is fully-blown megalomania, and I'm sure it's happening in real life as much as on Skins's island.

I hope her husband's careful when he walks inside the home at night, as either (a) nadin's standing there with a cadaver-carver in her hand and a wild gleam in her eyes, and there's already blood on the blade, or (b) nadin's done something really bad to hurt herself.

This woman is obsessed, and it's not going to end well.

But be honest Frank. From the standpoint of studying the DUmmies, isn't it fascinating to watch her break down in virtual real time?

Maybe UGP and BanTheGOP should organize an intervention.

After this superhuman 12-month-long frenzy of condescending, arrogant posts, can you imagine her reaction if she did NOT win DUmmy of the Year?

No DUmmy in any previous year has put out the tiniest fraction of the effort we've seen from nutcase nadin.

Her life revolves around that big golden Top DUmmy Award trophy.

It's the Holy Grail of lunacy, and she can feel it in her grasp already.

Sadly one that tries too hard never seems to get it.
That may be the final tipping point where she crosses the Rubicon.

Nadine has been helping me.  The more I read her posts the less beer and Jack Daniel's I drink.
