OWS vs Tea Party - Inclusion vs Exclusion

The Contrasting Psychologies of 'Occupy Wall Street' and the 'Tea Party'

<snip>For Tea Party members, the world will always remain full of persecutory others (Obama’s the devil!!) while OWS holds out the promise of community, no, of communities of difference. The effort after inclusiveness can be so dramatically full of sympathy and concern for others that you may feel the movement respecting your subjective experience before they even know what their own point of view is. But if you knit together the union worker and ex-hippie, the college student sharing some shade with the cop, you find a belief that working together instead of against each other presents the very real possibility that people will end up not as triumphant winners but as people with enough—and in a radically inclusive networked world enough is, well, enough. </snip>

Go down there and mention George W Bush, if they call him the devil, that will be the kindest thing uttered by any of those goons.
Then there is the little fact, that the whole movement is based on hatred of the faceless and nameless 1%.
Here are some real differences between the two, OWS, if you leave your I phone, Ipad, or Mac alone for 5 seconds someone will steal it, no reports of thefts at Tea Party rallies, OWS a 19 year old college student claims she was raped, no rapes at Tea Party events.

1. racist tea baggers didn't care about any issues when Bush was pres, only Obama nt

You are such an idiot, we were the first ones to complain when Bush and the GOP started screwing up.

I may not lock my doors while sitting at a red light and a black man is near, but I sure as hell grab on tight to my wallet when any democrats are close by.

Is that why anti-Tea Party thugs were arrested for assaulting a black man?

It's cute when they tell this to each other, but eventually reality crushes their memes.

Interesting contrast, but as usual the DUmmies have it backwards.

Hmmmm...Lets examine some differences, shall we?

Tea Party picks up their trash after rallies without being threatened with eviction from the premises.
Tea Party members aren't prowling the crowd looking for young women to rape.
Tea Party rally participants don't steal others lap tops, smart phones or other rather expensive toys.
Tea Party rally participants don't challenge the police, seldom - if ever - get arrested for civil disobedience.

There are probabbly a myriad of other differences, but these are the few I came up with after only 1 cup of coffee. I agree with the DUmmie ehrnst that there definitly is a contrast.

And one more thing. Tea Party is not calling for additional taxes on the envied rich. If anything we profess that everyone participate in the nation's income tax scheme, even if just a token amount, rather than leach off of the Treasury.

I've been looking at the photo's and films from the various OWS events. Looks like a bunch of white people to me. This is certainly a racist movement aimed at keeping the black man down.

Goodness, the DUmmie is on to something.
OWSer want to include Nazis, Commies, anarchists and anti-Semites while the TEA Party wants to exclude them. I did not read anymore than the title so I assume I got the gist of his post correct.  :-)

A lie told once in an echo chamber becomes the truth.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It's also why the OWieS are so inclusive of DA JOOOOOOOOOOS!!! that they have the wholehearted endorsement of the American Nazi Party.  :thatsright:
