Respectfully.

Why are obvious tombstoned zombie trolls allowed to continue to disrupt on this site? At least to me, a persons syntax, and pattern of disruption is very very obvious. As it is to other DUer's. And yet a few of these people who have PROVED themselves to be a detriment to discourse and nothing but loathsome shit stirrers on this site are allowed to rack up hundreds of posts and continue their disruption.

And yes, I and other DUers without a shadow of a doubt have alerted the moderators to this. I cannot imagine why, when something is so obvious and so easily remedied it is allowed to continue.

1. Perhaps this obvious tombstoned zombie troll was not as obvious as you think.

If you are suggesting that the moderators are deliberately allowing someone to remain, despite knowing that they were already banned under a previous username, I am not aware of that happening.

I'm not sure who you are referring to. But do know that there was a small crew of people who were following around some newbie constantly harassing him by suggesting that he was the return of the banned member NJMaverick. Not only were their posts an an obvious violation of our rules against personal attacks, but more importantly -- based on the information I have available to me -- I can say that they were almost certainly wrong. FWIW, that person ended up banned for different reasons. And I want to be absolutely clear that that that person was not banned because a small group of people were targeting him.

2. It's probably not important who the previous incarnation is/was. But when a new person hits the ground running here with hyper aggressive behavior it is a pretty safe bet they have been here before. At least in my experience. And the person that I am/was referring to is/was the banned poster you are speaking of.

I also know that a small group of posters targeting another for anything much less being a previously banned poster would make it more not less unlikely for that poster to be tomb stoned. FWIW I care about this joint and I don't think it is served well by folks deliberately stirring the pot. Pro Obama, anti Obama and in between.

And no Skinner, I was not suggesting that the moderators were deliberately doing anything.

I appreciate you answering my question.

Thanks.

3. God, I totally screwed up one of my sentences and said exactly the opposite of what I meant to say. Let's try again.

If a group of posters targeted a poster in order to get them TSed it would not make a TS any more likely. Probably less likely.

Geez.

Well, it's nice to see that at least one primitive treats my fellow alum Skins respectfully and deferentially.

As they all should, but don't.

Why is that Primitive asking the boss that question?  S/he used to be a Moderator and knows perfectly well that Skins allows certain of his flock to reincarnate and to have one or more socks.  Did this Primitive think s/he could so easily trick Skins into a public confession?  Seems very disrespectful!
