Greek riot police have fired teargas at petrol bomb throwing youths and charged them wielding batons as 10,000 public sector workers marched to protest against budget cuts and high taxes.

The country is today in the grip of a 24-hour national strike which has seen flights grounded, schools shut and people on the streets trying to storm the Athens parliament of its bankrupt government.

Violence broke out as anarchists mixed with the marchers and started attacking more than 1,000 police with any weapons they could find.

Well, I never expected the worldwide collapse of socialism would go unprotested, but it's surprising that so many idiots cannot even see that this is what it is.

...Because NOTHING helps a government come up with the revenue to pay out entitlements it can't currently back like a general strike!

I just got another Russian can of 7.62x54 a couple of days ago. Watching some movies is no substitute for actual training and preparation.  Good luck with throwing that molotov cocktail 700 yards.

I'm a tightwad.... LR .22 hollow points at 100 yards...buckshot at 100 feet and birdshot at point-blank range....I'm only going to bring out the long range expensive stuff if the smell gets to hard to handle.
